立法院長王金平表態若被黨徵召將義不容辭，在台北政壇掀起波瀾，當事人立法院副院長洪秀柱雖坦然以對，也強調自己還是會勇往直前，但王金平從20多天前的不領表到現在的義不容辭，態度令人玩味，前藍委邱毅就不滿地說，王金平的一句義不容辭，橫生變數，泛藍一片駡聲，「我也很火大」。
邱毅在臉書發文說，王金平的「義不容辭」，講的真不是時候。
他表示，試想如在初選登記前講，然後領表登記，在初選程序裡與洪秀柱一決高下。或者若洪秀柱沒過防磚民調，黨中央啓動徵召程序時講。上述兩個時間點都還妥適，但王金平偏選擇在12日民調之前講，結果一定會不利洪秀柱民調，至少中南部如此。
